Elementary Spanish Teacher Responsibilities- Teach several Spanish courses for students in grades K-5.
- Conduct research on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.
- Monitor student progress by writing up reports and grading assessments.
- Organize feedback sessions with students and their parents, if applicable.
- Identify students needing additional support and coordinate intervention sessions to improve academic performance.
- Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
- 2-3 years of previous K-12 teaching experience.
- No teaching license or credential is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented and resilient.
- A desire to be involved in extra‑curricular activities as well as the broader school community.
- Willingness to work with lower school students.
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate is preferred, but not required.
Compensation and benefit packages are competitive but will differ by school and will typically depend on geographic location, your experience, and your level of degree.
