Make an impact in the lives of middle and high school students by supporting their growth and success as a full-time contract Special Education Teacher. This onsite opportunity is ideal for experienced educators passionate about resource and co-teaching models within a collaborative school environment. Work closely with a caseload of 18-22 students, helping to tailor instruction and interventions that foster academic achievement and inclusion.
Key
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Proven experience or strong interest in working with middle and high school students
- Background in resource and/or co-teaching instructional models
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, collect data, and track student progress
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support within both resource and co-taught classroom settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to adapt curricula and foster student success
- Manage and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 18-22 students
- Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with all special education regulations
- Promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment
This position is onsite only and requires presence during regular school hours.
Compensation for this role ranges from $40-50 per hour depending on your status as a local or travel candidate, with stipends available for qualifying travelers. Enjoy the security and support of a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
