Special Education Teacher | Greenwich, Connecticut

Make an impact in the lives of middle and high school students by supporting their growth and success as a full-time contract Special Education Teacher. This onsite opportunity is ideal for experienced educators passionate about resource and co-teaching models within a collaborative school environment. Work closely with a caseload of 18-22 students, helping to tailor instruction and interventions that foster academic achievement and inclusion.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience or strong interest in working with middle and high school students
• Background in resource and/or co-teaching instructional models
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, collect data, and track student progress
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support within both resource and co-taught classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to adapt curricula and foster student success
• Manage and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 18-22 students
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with all special education regulations
• Promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment

This position is onsite only and requires presence during regular school hours.
