Our client, a growing company in the structural steel construction industry, is looking for a Structural Steel Detailer / CAD Drafter to join their team in the greater North Shore area of Massachusetts. In this role, you will create structural steel framing plans, sections, and detailed fabrication drawings for complex commercial, institutional, industrial, and renovation projects in a fast‑paced project environment.
You’ll collaborate daily with project stakeholders and technical teams to work through connection challenges, resolve field issues, and create buildable drawings. Our client is seeking someone with strong AutoCAD skills and experience using 2D and 3D detailing tools. Ideal candidates bring sound judgment about how steel gets built and apply math and trigonometry confidently. This is an exciting opportunity to have direct involvement in full steel superstructures and a clear path to grow into senior or leadership roles as the organization continues to expand.
