Investment Associate

• Responsible for conducting quantitative analyses of investment information.
• Analyze prospective primary and secondary collateralized loan obligation (“CLO”) investment opportunities using a variety of economics research tools and CLO documents.
• Utilize financial analysis expertise and conduct CLO collateral manager due diligence with an emphasis on understanding performance and the investment process.
• Participate in Investment Committee meetings and advise on strategic transactions across investment verticals.
• Monitor existing CLO positions to determine optimal actions including reset, refinancing, call and sales based upon market conditions.
• In addition, assist in the month-end valuation process for Eagle Point’s funds and separate accounts and will liaise with client solutions and investor relations to prepare marketing materials.
• Also work with the analytics team to maintain a database to track primary pricing information and secondary Bids Wanted in Competition (BWIC), offer sheets, and out-of-comp trading activity.

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Quantitative Science – Economics, or related field plus 1 year of experience in utilizing programming languages including Excel VBA, Tableau, or Python to analyze financial investments, and
• Six (6) months of experience in the following:
  Structuring CLO transactions at a sell-side dealer;
  Working with Intex and modeling CLO transactions; and Utilizing Moody’s CDO Edge, S&P CDO Evaluator, and S&P Cash Flow Evaluator.
