Fund Origination - Vice President

iCapital is looking to hire a Fund Origination Vice President to support its growing alternative investments feeder fund business. This role will report into a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This individual will focus on new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management. This role will be responsible for leading and helping manage the onboarding and product lifecycle of various alternative investment vehicles across structures and asset classes prevalent in the market.

Primarily, these will be funds created to invest into or alongside specified 3rd-party alternative asset managers “feeder” or “conduit” funds for the wealth management channel. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.

• Lead and proactively manage the structuring and execution of fund origination initiatives from concept through launch.
• Drive cross‑functional coordination to ensure timely, efficient, and successful fund launches.
• Partner with asset managers and wealth managers to structure and launch funds aligned with client, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Oversee and support the development of marketing materials.
• Coordinate closely with internal Legal and Compliance teams to obtain required reviews and approvals.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
• Drive product management decisions for funds currently on our menu.
• Leverage experience to help shape iCapital’s service offerings across multiple fund structures.
• Support ad hoc fund launch initiatives and strategic projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or another related field
• 10+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management or custodial relationships
• Experience in alternative investments with a focus on various fund structures is required
• Positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
• Detail‑oriented, self‑starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills

The base salary range for this role is $155,000 to $180,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full‑time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
