Director, Commodity Trade Finance

Aurex Group is partnered with an international trading house that is looking to hire a Director of Commodity Trade Finance to lead and expand its trade finance capabilities.

This role will work closely with commercial, operations, risk, and executive leadership teams to develop and execute funding strategies that support global commodity trading activities.

• Lead the development and execution of trade finance strategies supporting global commodity trading activities
• Establish, maintain, and expand relationships with domestic banking partners
• Structure and negotiate trade finance facilities, including revolving credit facilities, borrowing bases, inventory financing, receivables financing, and letters of credit
• Identify and secure liquidity solutions to support trading growth and working capital requirements
• Support the onboarding of new counter parties, jurisdictions, and trading activities from a financing perspective
• Develop internal processes, controls, and reporting frameworks to support a growing organization

• 10+ years of experience in commodity trade finance, structured trade finance, treasury, or working capital finance
• Experience supporting physical commodity trading organizations
• Demonstrated experience across multiple commodity markets rather than a single-product focus
• Strong network of banking relationships within the commodity finance ecosystem
• Proven ability to establish, negotiate, and manage trade finance facilities
• Experience working directly with traders, commercial teams, and senior leadership
