RoleWorld Quant is seeking an exceptional individual to join our CIO Management Team as a Senior Quantitative Project Manager. A successful candidate must possess a solid understanding of finance and global markets. Candidates will have a research mentality; be a self-starter, a creative and persevering deep thinker who is motivated by unsolved challenges. Experience with Databases, Python scripting, and Jupyter notebooks is required.
Responsibilities- Develop with Deputy CIOs and co-CIO quantitative frameworks for WQBook
- Analyze and document quantitative rules to be implemented as part of the WQBook system
- Provide cross-team project oversight of WQBook system initiatives
- Develop reporting structures of WQBook system initiatives
- Identify, address, and escalates WQBook system risks
- Conduct stakeholder reviews and provide solutions to identified problems
- Master's or PhD degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering)
- 4+ years of experience in project management or managerial position
- Proven experience in financial markets or investment management industry, especially in equities
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and judgement with strong attention to detail
- Mature and thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
- Experience with technology such as Python, Jupyter, databases, and reporting dashboards
- Strong analytical skills

World Quant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer we will take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
