FINANCIAL ANALYST | INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

$115,000 - $130,000 Base + 10-15% Bonus | 4 Days Onsite

A leading investment management firm is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its team.

This is not a traditional accounting position
. It is a unique opportunity for an accounting or finance professional who wants to move closer to investments, portfolio management, trading, and financial products
.

The role sits within the fund accounting organization but works closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, and other investment professionals
. You’ll gain broad exposure to portfolio activity, P&L, financing, securitizations, valuation, reporting, and technology-driven process improvements.

This could be an especially strong opportunity for someone coming from public accounting or audit who has developed an interest in finance and wants to take their career in a different direction.

• Track and report on activity across investment portfolios
• Support P&L calculations and portfolio reporting
• Prepare funding schedules and supporting documentation for investment activity
• Reconcile and process monthly servicing and portfolio reporting
• Coordinate with Middle Office and Operations on liquidity, trade allocations, and settlements
• Work closely with Portfolio Management, Trading, counter parties, custodians, and other internal and external parties
• Support financing activity and broader liquidity management
• Assist with securitization activity and related reporting
• Monitor portfolio data, performance, delinquencies, and other investment characteristics
• Support valuation, tax amortization, audit requests, and regulatory reporting
• Help develop and improve accounting policies, controls, and operational workflows
• Work with the technology team to enhance proprietary portfolio management and reporting systems
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve processes and efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, finance, advisory, or financial services
• Public accounting/audit experience is highly relevant
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Interest in investment products, fixed income, structured products, or financial markets
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with securitizations, CLOs, ABS, mortgages, or other structured products is a plus, but not required
• Exposure to SQL, data tools, automation, or AI is a plus

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 base + 10-15% bonus
