- Lead and oversee all tax matters across the firm’s hedge funds, management company, GP entities, and related investment vehicles.
- Manage tax planning, structuring, compliance, and reporting across complex investment strategies, including partnerships and alternative investments.
- Partner closely with the CFO, investment team, legal, and senior leadership on fund structuring, new products, transactions, and strategic tax initiatives.
- Oversee external tax advisors and service providers, including review of federal, state, local, and international tax filings, K-1s, and investor tax reporting.
- Monitor evolving tax legislation and assess the impact of regulatory changes on the funds, management company, partners, and investors.
- Serve as the firm’s senior tax subject-matter expert, developing scalable tax processes and infrastructure while providing guidance on complex technical tax matters.
- 10-20 years of Hedge Fund Tax experience
