• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all procedures following industry regulations
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process payments efficiently
• Engage with clients through personalized consultations to recommend suitable hair care products and retail items, boosting sales through upselling techniques
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering, color theory, retail math, and customer service best practices

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license recognized by state licensing boards
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment
• Exceptional communication skills to connect with clients effectively and understand their beauty goals
• Ability to perform diverse services including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading
• Experience in retail sales and upselling strategies to promote products confidently while providing excellent customer service
