HR Generalist
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation: $30-$35/hour
Our client, a highly respected and growing organization, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources initiatives and day-to-day operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional who enjoys partnering with employees and leadership while contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team player with strong interpersonal skills, a solid foundation in HR best practices, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with recruiting activities, interview coordination, and new hire integration
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies
- Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Assist with performance management processes and training initiatives
- Partner with leadership to support organizational goals and workforce planning efforts
- Prepare HR reports, maintain personnel documentation, and manage confidential information
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special HR projects
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and employee-focused work environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related role
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, and HR administration
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Relationship-driven HR professional who enjoys supporting employees at all levels
- Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and approachable with strong business acumen
- Passionate about creating a positive employee experience
