Senior Data Engineer, Investment Systems

DBi is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own and scale the firm’s data and internal platform infrastructure. This role works directly with the PM and supports research, portfolio management, and production workflows.

• Own ingestion, normalization, and storage of hedge fund, market, and proprietary datasets
• Manage integrations with external data providers
• Design and maintain pipelines into Snowflake using Fivetran and custom ETL
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls
• Maintain clean, reproducible historical time series
• Design and maintain REST APIs for internal data access
• Maintain and extend internal tools including Streamlit dashboards
• Work with external partners such as Everysk on critical workflows

• ~5 years experience in data engineering or investment systems
• Strong Python and SQL
• Hands‑on Snowflake experience
• Experience building APIs
• Understanding of financial time‑series data

• Hedge fund, asset manager, or fintech experience
• Streamlit and ETL tooling familiarity
• Cloud infrastructure exposure
