ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you the type of analytical professional who wants to understand how insurance companies actually manage risk, capital, and long-term profitability? This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact Enterprise Risk Management team working closely with senior leadership and business units across a global insurance organization.
In this position, you’ll work on high-impact projects involving casualty accumulation, emerging risks like cyber and climate, capital modeling, and group risk reporting. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys analytical problem solving, working with data, and understanding how insurance products translate into risk and capital requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist with design and automation of casualty data processes to improve scalability and accuracy.
- Analyze casualty accumulations by insureds, industries, and lines of business.
- Build visualizations and reporting to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
- Support analysis of exposure to cyber, climate change, and emerging risks.
- Research new and evolving risks including artificial intelligence and their potential impact.
- Assist in developing casualty catastrophe and extreme event scenarios.
- Assist business units with ERM reporting and risk analysis.
- Perform capital and solvency projections and stress testing.
- Assist with capital allocation and enterprise risk modeling.
- Support group-level capital planning and risk strategy.
- 2+ years of experience in P&C insurance, reinsurance, actuarial, analytics, or risk.
- Ability to connect analytics to business strategy and risk decisions.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, SQL, or similar concepts).
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Interest in automation, analytics, and AI tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or similar).
$110,000 to $140,000, bonus, competitive benefits
