POSITION SUMMARY

Jewish Family Services of Greenwich (JFS) is a leading non-profit social services agency serving the Fairfield County community. We provide behavioral health services, Jewish Health & Healing programming, older adult support, immigration support, immigration legal services, and food resources. We are seeking a Development Manager to join our Community Engagement team and strengthen our fundraising efforts. This position reports to the Chief Community Engagement Officer (CCEO).

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing professionally. The Development Manager supports essential fundraising operations including special events, CRM management, donor relations, prospect research, and grants management. Working closely with the CCEO, this position stewards a small portfolio of donors to help retain and increase giving.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • CRM Management — Manage all aspects of donations, donor acknowledgement, reporting, lists, data hygiene
  • Special Events — Assist with planning and execution of the annual gala, working closely with the event committee, and smaller events
  • Prospect Research — Identify new individual, foundation, and corporate prospects
  • Annual Revenue Goals — Collaborate with the team and Board of Directors to meet or exceed annual revenue goals
  • Grants Management — Support foundation research, prepare proposals and reports, while maintaining standard materials
  • Assist the CCEO with:
    • Donor stewardship and retention
    • Board of Directors communications
    • Institutional giving and corporate sponsor ships
    • Planned giving
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a non-profit development department
  • Experience with donor databases and fundraising software; tech-savvy and adaptable
  • Highly motivated, self-starter able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Professional, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communications skills
