A registered professional nurse who utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care and assumes the responsibility and accountability for prescribing, delegating and coordinating that care.

• 1. Demonstrates basic skill in assessment of health care needs.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Those with a Diploma or Associate's Degree need to show evidence that they are actively enrolled in a BSN or MSN program.

One (1) to three (3) years nursing or health care experience. Ambulatory service experience and Vaccine Administration preferred.

Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. All newly hired Registered Nurses must have current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.

Good interpersonal skills. Successful completion of orientation.

Able to travel between offices/vaccine clinic sites. Minimum requirement of 2 shifts per week during vaccine campaign and then 24 hours per month in OMWS to maintain per diem status.

Able to travel between employee health offices at all clinic locations/vaccine clinic sites & offsites.

Minimum of 24 hours per month in OMWS CLINICS to maintain per diem status. Available for retail client offsite needs and vaccine.

BSN preferred, CPR, current state of CT RN licensure, previous vaccine experience preferred, 1-3 years of Ambulatory experience.

Proficiency in EPIC, SYSTOC.
