Location: Greenwich, CT Agency: Fusion Medical Staffing Pay: $2,052 to $2,183 per week Shift Information: Days – 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 6/29/2026

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for a 12‑week travel assignment in Greenwich, CT. As a member of the team you will provide patient‑centered care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance and addressing concerns
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved obstetric nursing techniques
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members to deliver cohesive care
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, including preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress, using evidence‑based protocols
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with all regulatory standards, including hospital policies, state laws, and federal guidelines for obstetric nursing care
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of labor and delivery nursing

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)
• Other certifications and licenses may enhance your candidacy

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and competence with PC skills
• Physical abilities: stationary position, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel with a positive attitude
• Technical/motor skills: grasp, push/pull, fine manipulation, and assistance with procedures
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under supervision or independently, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration on detail
