Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology - Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology

Join WCS Healthcare Partners as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in our Cardiology department. This full-time role provides the opportunity to work independently within both the Interventional Cardiology (Cath Lab) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. The focus will be on pre- and post-procedure responsibilities, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment for professional growth.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Utilize diagnostic testing to evaluate and manage patient care effectively.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Develop treatment plans and administer medications in collaboration with physicians.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans, procedures, recovery, and ongoing cardiac care.
• Work schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts (8 AM-6 PM) per week.

• Must be Board Certified (BC) and licensed in Connecticut (CT).
• Experienced NP preferred, but strong Cardiology nursing experience will also be considered.
