**** position summary:
** this position is responsible for maintaining and stocking bars in accordance with department procedures and standards.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* receives, fills, and delivers stock orders/requisitions
* responsible for keeping bars stocked with supplies including liquor, beer and glassware
* cleans floors, equipment, countertops and shelves in assigned outlets
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** assists bartender with maintaining garnishes, washing glassware and overall cleanliness of bars
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** must be able to follow written directions
* must be able to fill stock orders
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* good written and verbal communication skills
* knowledge of all legal beverage service guidelines and state liquor laws including proper identification, refusal of service and shutoff procedures
* basic knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and glassware
* thorough knowledge of ice handling procedures as well as health and sanitation guidelines
* working knowledge of the property and gaming floor
** training requirements:
*** outlet-specific standard operating procedures
* smart alcohol awareness
** physical demands and work environment:
*** must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* must be able to bend and stand for extended periods of time
