Cook – Aged Care (Part-Time | 2–3 Days Monday to Friday)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team in a part-time role, working 2–3 days per week between Monday and Friday. This position supports the Executive Chef in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to our residents.

About the RoleAs Cook, you will:
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with set menus and dietary requirements
Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
Ensure food is prepared to high standards of presentation and taste
Maintain compliance with HACCP and food safety programs
Assist with stock control and minimise food wastage
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation and Service
Prepare and cook meals following established recipes and portion controls
Assist with plating and ensure meals are served on time
Menu Support
Contribute to menu preparation aligned with aged care dietary needs
Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory control
Support smooth daily kitchen operations
Food Safety and Compliance
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, WHS and HACCP requirements
Participate in maintaining the Food Safety Program

Skills & ExperienceExperience as a Cook or Chef, aged care experience preferred
Knowledge of aged care nutrition and special dietary requirements
Strong understanding of food safety, WHS and HACCP

Up-to-date vaccinations as required
