Emmy Squared Pizza is coming to Greenwich, CT! We are seeking experienced Prep Cooks to join our opening team and deliver exceptional dining experiences! Your Role as a Prep Cook:

As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in the success of our kitchen by ensuring ingredients and dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will:

• Prepare specific food items and recipes with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
• Set up and maintain assigned kitchen workstations.
• Properly handle, store, and date food items to ensure freshness and safety.
• Use facility supplies and equipment responsibly to minimize loss and waste.
• Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to management.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.

What You Bring to the Table:

• At least 1 year of experience as a prep or line cook in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing responsibilities.
• Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods, with frequent bending and reaching overhead.
• Familiarity with culinary tools (knives, commercial equipment, etc.) and the ability to taste/smell for quality assurance.
• A passion for food-pizza knowledge is a plus!
