Role DescriptionThe Associate Gallery Leader in Greenwich, CT, is responsible for cross‑functional leadership across all facets of the gallery business. This leader is expected to deliver first‑class service, creating a luxury experience for both our clients and our Associates by removing obstacles, providing unwavering support, and ensuring that teams feel empowered to “do the right thing.”
This is a full‑time, on‑site role that requires an agile leader who can seamlessly balance strategic business execution, team development, and a hands‑on presence on the gallery floor.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership & Development: Boldly coach, mentor, and develop a cross‑functional team to promote a positive, high‑energy, and dynamic environment. Drive top results through team engagement, empowerment, and strict accountability.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Live our Vision, Values, and Beliefs every day. Represent the RH brand through polished communication, flawless personal appearance, and a high level of professionalism.
- Product & Aesthetic Expertise: Display a deep passion for luxury interior design. Master the RH design aesthetic and continuously educate teams on our product assortment and the RH point of view.
- Operational & Visual Excellence: Oversee day‑to‑day gallery operations, ensuring visual merchandising standards are impeccably maintained to showcase our spaces. Partner with the People Team to quickly resolve complex priorities and human resources concerns.
- Talent Acquisition: Actively network, attract, and hire the right talent at all levels to support our ever‑changing business.
- Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience within luxury retail, high‑end design showrooms, premium hospitality, or a corporate retail environment.
- Skills: Superior organization, strategic/mental agility, and exceptional analytical problem‑solving abilities.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Mac Operating System, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
- Mindset: A results‑driven attitude that gains insights from mistakes and welcomes constructive feedback to continuously improve.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver effectively around all levels of the gallery floor, stock room, and office. Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing. Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Availability: Absolute flexibility to work on‑site to adapt to the gallery's operational needs, including weekends and holidays.
