Nabisco Merchandiser​/Order Writer

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as the face of iconic brands/owners of the biscuit aisle.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos via Digital Merchandising Initiative (DMI).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel (backroom receivers, store managers) to support brand execution and visibility.
• Order product via iPad to maintain in‑stock conditions for shelf and display using Salesforce.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with Retail Territory Manager (RTM)-negotiated plans.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by RTM for efficient coverage among retail team and colleagues.
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high‑visibility merchandising events.
• Communicate store‑level insights, issues, or opportunities to RTM and management.
• Maintain safety and compliance while performing physical tasks of lifting, bending, and moving product.

• Time & Task Management – organized, efficient in following schedules and completing store visits.

• At least 18 years of age and possess a valid REAL r’s license, U.S. passport, or federal .
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; GED can be earned while working.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and insurance; able to drive personal vehicle to multiple store locations. Mileage reimbursed.
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast‑paced environment and meet physical requirements: repetitive lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs, occasionally pushing/pulling over 50 lbs.
• Live within 25–35 miles of primary location:
  Groton, CT.
• Secondary locations:
  Norwich & East Lyme.
• Schedule availability required: 4 × 10‑hour days (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
