Prosegur Security is seeking Full-Time Armed Security Officers for a healthcare network in the Greenwich, CT area with strong work ethic and customer service skills. Shifts include multiple positions with weekend availability required.

• Weekend availability is a must
• Hourly starting wage: $30.00

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow established healthcare and department standard precautions and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements and specific post instructions.
• Maintain firearms qualification and training and follow general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Maintain a customer service orientation with basic to intermediate computer skills and effective written and oral communication.
• Perform routine foot patrols, light to moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions as an armed officer.
• Meet attendance and punctuality requirements to ensure coverage and quality service to patients, visitors, and employees.

• CT Guard License
• CT State Licensed Carry Permit (Class 1 or higher) - Unrestricted
• Mandatory firearm qualification screening
• 4+ years of prior law enforcement, military, armed security, or executive protection experience
• 21 or 22 years of age (as required by state guidance)
• High school diploma or equivalent (higher education also accepted)
• Professional attire, personal hygiene, and conduct expectations while on duty
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to participate in the company screening process, including drug screening and background checks
• Discernment and good judgment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain calm in stressful situations
• Commitment to mandatory company trainings

This position requires significant physical activity. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods, including rounds and patrols up to 1–2 miles per shift
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during patrols
• Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds
