• 5+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair on building automation or controls systems.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to manage accounts professionally.
• Mechanical aptitude (valves, actuators, dampers) and competence resolving controls‑related issues.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation every 6–8 weeks
• Exposure to multiple BAS/BMS controls platforms such as Niagara, Facility Explorer, Tridium, Alerton Systems, or other related controls systems

• Experience with METASYS (Johnson Controls BAS)

Insight Global is looking for a mobile Sr. HVAC Controls Tech to join one of our clients on Rocky Hill, CT. This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair on building automation and controls systems related to HVAC. They interface directly with customers, providing clear communication and professional account management. This role requires mechanical aptitude, including working knowledge of valves, actuators, and dampers to resolve controls‑related issues effectively.

The technician participates in an on‑call rotation every 6–8 weeks to support critical system needs. Candidates should have exposure to BAS/BMS platforms such as Niagara, Facility Explorer, Tridium, Alerton, or similar controls systems.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
