Software Engineer - PI Analytics

Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm that has been a leader in the industry for 20+ years. Headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut, they are a leader in alternative and traditional strategies. They are seeking a senior level software engineer to join their Portfolio Manager and Implementation teams where you will turn quantitative insights into actionable investment strategies.

Location:

Office in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central). This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement of 2-3x per week.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 base salary (Based on experience).

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated experience and expertise developing in Java and/or Spring Boot
• Deep knowledge and experience working with SQL
• Experience with relational databases for data analysis and software development
• Hands‑on experience with quant stacks is a plus (Python, Num Py, and Pandas)
• Familiarity with REST‑like architecture and software lifecycle tools, e.g., Git, Jira, and Jenkins

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field
• Experience supporting financial/trading and/or mission‑critical applications
• Excellent communication skills
