Location: Greenwich CT office every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Terms:6-12 Months+ contract

Pay Rate: $90hr - $100/hr

Our client is a leading Hedge Fund company and isseeking to integrate next generation, in-house developed based Application with Geneva Platform. (Geneva experience is not Required).

• Seeking a 10 year +C#/.NET Developer /Engineer to do code hands on backend development, API integration, SQL/database experience, messaging, and the ability to build reliable enterprise software.
• The Developer will help build and enhance custom software that connects internal business applications to Geneva through APIs and integration layers.
• Refactoring and re-architecting existing systems, API development, data movement, integration design, rigorous testing, and validation.
• There is some Front-end development in Angular. While being an expert is not required – it would be great at least one of the two candidates have Angular.
• Detail-oriented engineers with strong technical judgment, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently without heavy supervision.

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, building enterprise applications using C#/.NET
• Strong backend C#/.NET development experience
• Strong experience with API integration, including vendor APIs, internal integration layers, REST/web services, or similar patterns
• Ability to think through data movement, request/response workflows, latency, reliability, and integration performance
• Strong SQL/database experience
• Experience with MQ / messaging technologies or asynchronous integration patterns
• Outstanding hands on coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Experience refactoring and re-architecting existing applications
• Experience with source/version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with software development best practices, testing methodologies, validation, and production-quality code
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team
• Strong technical judgment, including knowing when to make decisions independently and when to elevate larger design decisions
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Experience with Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with JavaScript / Type Script (obviously if they have Angular this will be fine
• Experience with Geneva or Advent Geneva
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience in middle office, back office, investment operations, portfolio accounting, trade processing, reconciliations, or financial services technology
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tooling, with the ability to review, validate, and explain AI-generated code
• Willingness and flexibility to support occasional off-hours work as needed Ideal Candidate Profile
