General Statement of Duties
Under the direction of the Pool/Waterfront Manager this position is responsible to assist the Pool/Waterfront Manager in the general operations of the pool/beach facility. It includes but is not limited to, staffing, training, scheduling, time keeping and supervising.
Duties:

• Supervises functions and staff of the Pool and beach at the facility.
• Monitors daily pool operations to adhere to all state and local health and safety regulations.
• Conducts and ensures proper maintenance of pools. Secures and schedules pool facilities. Maintains accurate records of pool chemical levels and facilities maintenance.
• Responsible to conduct training of the Pool staff with assistance from the Lifeguard Supervisor.
• Coordinates with Lifeguard Supervisor and Beach Manager, work schedules for the pool, beach crew and ticket staff.
• Communicates daily with on location full-time (Pool/Waterfront Manager, foreman/caretaker) in regard to matters involving the facility.
• Must have experience and display strong supervisory skills in the management of college and high school age personnel.
• Must have the ability to deal tactfully with the public.
• Performs other duties as necessary.

This is a summer seasonal position scheduled for approximately 5 - 20 hours/week.
Qualifications

Current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, Standard First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Current certification First Aid/CPR/AED or pass training prior to start date.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or pass a Certified Pool Operator's course prior to start date.
Individuals must be willing to work weekends and Holidays during the season.
