SummaryThe Ash Group is hiring an IBMi Systems Engineer for our client, one of the largest private credit providers in the US agricultural economy. This is a 3-6 month contract offering a pay rate of 71.00 per hour based on skillset.
- Compensation: $71.00 per hour.

- Assist in the support, maintenance, and enhancement of the enterprise IBMi environment.
- Daily Operations & Maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain IBMi (OS/400, i5/OS) systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform system health checks, job monitoring, subsystem management, and system message handling.
- Apply PTFs, firmware updates, and OS upgrades in coordination with change management processes.
- Deep IBMi infrastructure expertise - more infrastructure focused than application.
- IBM i hardware & OS/400 is a must
- Strong understanding of virtualization (VM setup and configuration)
- Storage architecture and management experience is a must.
