LOCATION: Human Resources
DIVISION: SVP-CHRO
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
The HR business partner will serve as a strategic advisor for the assigned group, acting as a catalyst for continued business performance and ensuring HR operational excellence. Supports the group in areas such as employment activities, employee relations, records management, compliance, training, and administering compensation, benefits, and performance programs.

Director – Human Resources
Contacts:
Frequent contact with Bellco managers, employees, and the public.
- Education:
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. - HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Experience:
3-5 years in Human Resources. - Strong administrative skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of operational policies, procedures, and federal employment laws.
- Experience managing employee relations.
- Excellent coaching and facilitation skills.
- Leadership ability, relationship-building, and inspiring others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Active listening and tactful communication skills.
- Equipment:
General office equipment.
- Demonstrate Bellco’s Act Nice philosophy in all interactions.
- Assist in workforce planning, recruitment, and selection processes.
- Administer benefit programs and maintain records.
- Advise management on performance reviews to ensure quality and value.
- Assist with internal investigations, litigation preparation, and EEOC charges.
- Coach managers on employee performance management.
- Ensure legal compliance in employment practices.
- Consult and train management on employee relations, discipline, and policies.
- Conduct needs analysis and develop programs to meet business needs.
- Support HRIS functions, including reporting and data maintenance.
- Assist with new employee orientation and exit interviews.
- Maintain punctual attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Occasional visits to branches.
