IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Our client is launching its first agentic AI solution for Customer Operations, partnering with Google to build an enterprise-scale AI agent that will handle a portion of customer support interactions. This initiative is one of the fastest-moving AI programs within the organization and requires a highly capable Project Manager to support the technical implementation workstream. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, help launch a groundbreaking AI product, and be part of one of high-visibility initiatives.
Skill Set
- 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience
- Strong background delivering software engineering initiatives in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting custom build or net new projects is a huge nice to have
- Hands-on experience with:
- Agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban, sprint ceremonies)
- Jira (user story management & sprint execution)
- SDLC/PDLC
- Release planning & coordination
- Ability to manage complex, multi-team technical dependencies.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence — comfortable interacting with senior leadership.
- High emotional intelligence and calm under pressure — able to operate in a demanding, high-stakes environment.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and frequently changing delivery contexts.
- Computer science degree or equivalent working experience (being able to understand highly technical concepts and apply them to new things that are being developed)
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily standups for a 15–20+ person cross-functional technical team
- Facilitate sprint planning in partnership with technical leads (AI developers, software engineers, platform engineers).
- Support writing, refining, and managing 10–20 user stories per sprint.
- Maintain Jira boards (Kanban/sprint boards) and ensure story readiness, prioritization, and tracking.
- Manage delivery across the full SDLC/PDLC including requirements, design, architecture, development, testing, release, and post-launch operations.
- Coordinate dependencies and timelines across 30+ partner teams.
- Track milestones, risks, and issues across technical work streams; escalate appropriately.
- Provide analysis on user story groupings, program schedule updates, and release planning.
- Support stakeholder workshops, technical discussions, and cross-team working sessions.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders, including C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, risks, and changes with clarity, professionalism, and strong executive presence.
- Work side-by-side with the Technical Workstream Lead (hiring manager) to ensure alignment, momentum, and rapid issue resolution.
- Handle rapid turnarounds, reprioritizations, and urgent tasks with emotional maturity and steady execution.
- Support occasional after-hours/weekend work (remote) as needed based on program demand.
