Role OverviewThe Experience Team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the convergence of two customer‑facing portals—Enterprise/Medium‑Large Business and Small Business—into a single unified customer experience. This role sits on the business side, acting as a connector between product, development partners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth execution from discovery through delivery. You will be dedicated to the Portal Convergence initiative, initially focused on the mobile experience.
You will help translate business strategy and product vision into actionable plans, drive clarity where conflicts arise, and ensure milestones are met on time.
- Drive program activities end‑to‑end, from planning through deployment.
- Maintain project timelines, RAID logs, risks/issues, and milestone tracking.
- Own meeting notes, action items, and follow‑through across all partners.
- Facilitate discussions to bring clarity when teams express confusion or misalignment.
- Escalate issues appropriately when work turns “yellow,” ensuring blockers are promptly addressed.
Build strong partnerships across:
- Product teams
- Project Delivery Managers (PDMIs / elevated scrum masters)
- Other business units impacted by portal work
- Coordinate dependencies between teams, identifying upstream and downstream impacts.
- Understand the broader vision of the portal convergence initiative and translate it into executable steps.
- Act as the bridge between business strategy, product requirements, and technical delivery teams.
- Help shape clarity around scope, next steps, and timeline when ambiguity arises.
- Work with Jira for product/development alignment.
- Use Confluence, Excel, and Lucid depending on the needs of the program.
- Maintain documentation in the team’s designated systems.
- 5+ years of Program Management experience (not just Project Management).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and roles within it.
- Experience working on business‑driven initiatives involving cross‑functional partners.
- Prior work coordinating across product and technical teams.
- Ability to manage complex programs with shifting priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive clarity, ask questions, and proactively seek answers.
- Strong communicator and facilitator who can quickly create structure in ambiguous environments.
- Calm under pressure; flexible as priorities shift.
- Highly curious, self‑directed, and not reliant on micromanagement.
- Comfortable escalating when necessary to keep work on track.
- Capable of seeing the big picture while executing details meticulously.
