AI Intern

Job Responsibilities & Requirements Mi Tek 's Internship Program offers a paid, 12-week full-time experience that runs Monday, May 17th through Friday, August 6th designed for students nearing completion of their degree.

Interns are paired with a Manager and Mentor to work on impactful projects and present final outcomes at the end of the program. The program includes networking opportunities, leadership exposure, and engagement in a hybrid work environment that fosters innovation and inclusivity. For internships that outside your current geographic location, we offer a $6,000 Intern Stipend to help cover your temporary housing and travel for the duration of the program.

During the internship you will:

Responsibilities:

Contribute to AI/ML projects that enhance software capabilities and business solutions.

Gain experience in Python, SQL, and AI/ML libraries like Tensor Flow, scikit-learn, Num Py, and pandas.

Work with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product teams.

Learn from experienced AI engineers and industry leaders.

Connect with professionals across MiTek and fellow interns.

Present your AI/ML projects and insights to senior leadership.

Contribute to AI/ML projects that enhance software capabilities and business solutions.

Gain experience in Python, SQL, and AI/ML libraries like Tensor Flow, scikit-learn, Num Py, and pandas.

Work with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product teams.

Work with AI product manager to develop/improve business and product requirements.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or a related Engineering field with an expected graduation of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher; ability to accept full-time offer.

Experience or coursework in Python, SQL, and AI/ML libraries (Tensor Flow, scikit-learn, Num Py, pandas).Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including common algorithms and best practices.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze data and develop AI-driven solutions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Related construction related education or training preferred.

Related training on relevant software or technologies preferred.
