About the Role:
Our partnered HVAC Mechanical Company, in collaboration with The Agency Recruiting, is actively seeking a Controls Technician II to join their growing team in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is ready to take the next step in their career with a reputable mechanical contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, test, and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS), specifically utilizing Tridium Niagara/Niagara N4 platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex control systems for HVAC and related mechanical systems.

  • Interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings and specifications.

  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

  • Maintain proper documentation and generate service reports and logs.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in BAS or HVAC controls.

  • Tridium Niagara/Niagara N4 Certification is REQUIRED.

  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical controls.

  • Proficiency with control systems integration and networking protocols (BACnet, Lon Works, Modbus, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $36/hr to $50/hr, commensurate with experience and certification level.
