Front End Developer; Top Secret Clearance, Onsite in Denver

Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems.

We are seeking a Denver-based Front End developer who has an active Top Secret Clearance to join our team.

We are a small company dispersed across the U.S. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive.

Fully onsite role in Greenwood Village, CO. Due to our work with the DoD, this person needs to already have an Active Top Secret Clearance.

• You are a strong front-end developer with 3+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
• You have experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES6+).
• You are knowledgeable about modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and/or Angular.
• You understand key web application design principles.
• You enjoy working closely with both internal and external design teams, enjoy the UI/UX design process, ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
• You have an Active Top Secret Clearance.
• You are willing to work onsite daily in Greenwood Village, CO.
• You are a US Citizen who lives in the USA.

• Full Stack & Backend experience a huge bonus.
• Experience with JavaScript unit testing (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, or Vitest) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress).
• Experience using Git and Jira in a development workflow.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience with web visualization frameworks such as D3.js or Cesium.
• Experience with SCSS and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of observer design patterns utilizing RxJS or a similar library.
• Knowledge of user centered design principles and experience with Sketch/Figma or equivalent design tools.

Your actual pay for this role will be based on your skills, experience, and location.

The compensation package features an annual revenue bonus, contingent upon the company's financial success for the year.

Rocket Communications determines the salary range for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Our base salary offers are mainly determined by levels of experience.
