Essential Functions
- Supervise and mentor process engineers, CNC programmers, and technical staff.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production and project deadlines.
- Oversee design and implementation of CNC machining processes for new and existing products.
- Maintain adherence to AS9100 and other applicable standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support new product launches and engineering changes in coordination with design teams.
- Develop and manage engineering budgets, including tooling and capital equipment.
- Forecast resource needs and plan for future capacity requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in CNC machining or precision manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining principles.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Solid Works).
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing. Preferred
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and advanced manufacturing technologies. Preferred
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management (PMP). Preferred
Rate:
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
