We are looking for a Manager, North American Business Development to join our Group and drive long‑term, sustainable commercial growth for our Temperature & System Products (TS) organization across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This key leadership role will strengthen our commercial strategy, lead our Sales Development Managers (SDMs), and ensure our regional priorities align with global initiatives. Endress+Hauser Temperature & System Products (TS) is a globally connected Product Center dedicated to innovation, product lifecycle excellence, and industry‑focused solutions in temperature and system technologies.

In this role, you will lead the North American Business Development function for TS, guiding a team of Sales Development Managers while partnering closely with Product Center (PC) and Sales Center (SC) stakeholders. Based on site in Greenwood, Indiana, this role sits within a highly collaborative global network, influencing the success of TS across North America.
Which tasks will you perform? You Will- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional Sales Development Manager (SDM) team to achieve commercial and organizational goals.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment with Sales Centers, Product Center teams, Global Product Management, and Global Industry Management.
- Guide opportunity funnel management, strategic prioritization, and customer/industry targeting.
- Coordinate with global partners to capture and prioritize regional product needs.
- Support growth in target industries by providing expertise on applications, regulations, and competitive positioning.
- Align with engineering and sales teams on pricing strategies including list pricing, market pricing, and project‑specific pricing.
- Support Sales Centers in identifying new business opportunities and simplifying the customer experience.
- Lead or support regional launches, campaigns, KPIs, and performance measurements.
- Strengthen collaboration with senior leadership on bid strategies, resource planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Bring 5+ years of experience in process instrumentation or automation sales.
- Have 2–3 years of leadership experience (or comparable project management experience with resource coordination).
- Demonstrate strong understanding of target industries and related applications.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels and present confidently to groups.
- Build relationships easily and collaborate across a global network.
- Have the ability to guide strategic opportunities, prioritize effectively, and drive results.
- Are able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
- Can work onsite in Greenwood, Indiana, including field visits to customer sites.
