Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple commercial and residential painting projects from start to finish. You’ll lead crews and subcontractors, communicate with clients, coordinate schedules and materials, manage budgets, maintain profitability, and ensure every customer receives a 5‑star experience. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a critical leadership role within the company.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage multiple residential and commercial painting projects simultaneously.
  • Lead field crews and subcontractors while promoting safety, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct project start‑up meetings and establish clear expectations with crews.
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, property managers, and general contractors.
  • Perform quality control inspections throughout each project.
  • Prepare and manage Additional Work Orders (AWOs) and Change Orders.
  • Monitor labor hours, production rates, material usage, and project profitability.
  • Track project financials, forecasts, billings, and budgets.
  • Order materials and coordinate deliveries.
  • Ensure proper preparation and application of primers, paints, stains, epoxies, and specialty coatings.
  • Conduct final walkthroughs and obtain project completion sign‑offs.
  • Attend production meetings, planning meetings, and leadership development sessions.
  • Support and strengthen ALL IN Painting’s culture and core values.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements Required
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the painting or commercial construction industry.
  • Experience managing multiple painting crews and subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial painting systems, including preparation, primers, paints, stains, epoxies, and specialty coatings.
  • Ability to read project specifications, scopes of work, and construction drawings.
  • Experience coordinating schedules, manpower, and project timelines.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, labor productivity, material usage, and profitability.
  • Strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, smartphones, tablets, and project management software.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred
  • Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Experience with painting CRM or project management software.
  • Experience working on schools, healthcare facilities, commercial renovations, or public projects.
  • Previous estimating experience is a plus.
