We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. This position works closely with Project Managers, Project Executives, field leadership, clients, and internal departments to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Support multiple electrical construction projects from planning through completion
Meet regularly with Project Managers to review schedules, budgets, staffing, and project progress
Assist with project budgets, monthly projections, billings, and receivables
Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and other project resources
Work closely with field leaders to support staffing needs and daily project execution
Help price change orders and gather the information needed to complete proposals
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments
Identify potential project risks and assist with implementing solutions
Support compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards
Assist with estimating projects as needed
Learn and utilize project management and estimating systems, including Accubid, COINS, and Autodesk Build
Help maintain existing client relationships and identify future project opportunities
Promote a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred
Candidates with at least two years of construction field or office experience will also be considered
Electrical construction experience is strongly preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive and professional approach
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with office and field teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to learn construction estimating and project management software
