Overview
Isom Elementary is seeking a Special Education Instructional Assistant to support students in grades K–5. This position works closely with the special education teacher and classroom staff to assist students with academic tasks, learning activities, and positive behavior supports.

- Providing small group and one-on-one support to students
- Assisting with instructional activities and classroom routines
- Supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under teacher direction
- Reinforcing positive behavior and social skills
- Preparing instructional materials and assisting with classroom organization
- Supervising and supporting students during transitions and other school activities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and build positive relationships with students
- Strong communication skills and a patient, flexible approach
This is a 29-hour per week school-year position.
