Entry‑Level Structural Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Structural Engineer, where you will engage in structural building design, focusing primarily on steel and concrete construction. In this full‑time role, you will perform structural calculations and generate design documents under the supervision of a project manager. You will be instrumental in meeting client expectations on fast‑paced, collaborative design‑build projects, including distribution centers, office buildings, retail spaces, and some industrial and veterinary hospital designs.
Responsibilities- Conduct structural analysis and design using software packages such as RAM Structural System, Ram Elements, spWall, and Microsoft Excel.
- Design structural steel framing systems, connections, tilt‑up concrete walls, and footings.
- Draft projects using Revit.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and perform other related construction administration duties.
- Occasionally travel to job sites for construction observations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis.
- 0‑2 years of structural engineering experience in building construction, preferably steel or concrete.
- Basic knowledge of International Building Code and associated design standards: ASCE, ACI, AISC, AISI, and AF&PA publications.
- Proficient in Revit with the ability to produce structural drawings.

We work closely with architects, owners, and contractors to build multistory office buildings, distribution centers, and retail spaces efficiently. Our firm is stable and fiscally conservative, providing a casual work environment with flexible hours. The office offers a relaxed dress code and a strong team‑oriented culture.
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility to fit personal schedules.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 – $36.06/hr.
