Whatis the role about?
A mid‑level Process Automation Engineer has a passion for solving customer problems by designing innovative and robust solutions for the industrial process and manufacturing industries. This individual will apply their passion for automation and controls combined with Endress+Hauser measurement instrumentation products to provide measurement solutions that optimize customer processes with safety and reliability.
Which tasks will you perform?- Designs and implements automation processes with minimal supervision
- Participates in the development of project documentation
- Contributes to the evaluation and integration of new technologies
- Interprets P&IDs to design and specify process instrumentation and control equipment
- Designs and programs PLC and HMI control systems
- Provides onsite start‑up and commissioning services, including site acceptance testing with minimal supervision
You will have (required):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 4 years of automation or control system design experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient in multiple programming languages and automation software
- Ability to design and modify control system architectures
- Understanding of advanced process and instrumentation system design
- Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC/HMI programming or similar platforms
- Travel required:
approximately 25%
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4-6 years of experience in Engineering and CAD design
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
