We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to lead and administer company-wide safety programs, regulatory compliance, and training initiatives across multiple locations.

This position is primarily administrative, compliance-driven, and program‑management oriented—focused on policy management, reporting, coordination, and continuous improvement of safety systems rather than daily field-based enforcement. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-driven, and passionate about building scalable safety processes that support operational excellence and employee well‑being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration & Compliance
    • Manage company safety programs, documentation, and compliance records across all locations
    • Maintain contractor prequalification files and regulatory paperwork
    • Monitor OSHA and industry regulatory updates and implement required changes
    • Coordinate annual inspections and compliance reviews with external agencies and vendors
  • Training & Communication
    • Oversee onboarding safety orientation and training tracking systems
    • Coordinate company‑wide safety training schedules and materials
    • Develop and publish internal safety communications, newsletters, and digital resources
    • Facilitate safety committee meetings and cross‑location communication
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Maintain safety KPIs, service hours, and company work‑hour data
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly safety reports for leadership
    • Manage incident documentation, root cause tracking, and corrective action follow‑up
    • Support dashboard reviews and executive reporting
  • Equipment & Resource Management
    • Administer PPE ordering, inventory tracking, and distribution
    • Track inspection schedules for fire extinguishers, AEDs, eyewash stations, and forklifts
    • Coordinate vendor relationships for inspections, certifications, and safety services
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Manage internal safety surveys and “Good Catch” reporting programs
    • Identify trends and recommend process improvements
    • Develop safety forms, guides, and training tools to support consistency across locations
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Safety Administration, Safety Coordination, or Safety Program Management
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance documentation
  • Demonstrated experience with multi‑site safety reporting and training coordination
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project‑management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, reporting tools, and learning management systems
