Valle Vista Health System (a UHS facility):
Valle Vista Health System is a 132-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Greenwood, IN. Valle Vista Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults, and offers inpatient acute care, and a variety of outpatient services at multiple locations. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Valle Vista Health System.

The referral Coordinator is accountable for coordinating the Assessment and Referral activities at the facility. This position involves extensive contact with the community and interfaces closely with the Director, utilization review staff, Valle Vista Hospital business office, staff and clinical staff to insure continuity of communication. This position is also responsible for inquiry calls, insurance verification payment collections at the time of admission and scheduling of evaluations and admissions.

Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
High School Diploma. Prefer some college or equivalent experience in a health care related field.
ExperienceMinimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-service field. Preferably in a health care setting. Demonstrated knowledge of computer skills and demonstrated knowledge of customer service principles.
Additional RequirementsCPR and CPI training as outlined in New Hire Policy must be completed before providing direct care services.
Additional SkillsAbility to communicate over the telephone and in face to face situations. Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
