Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and supporting theday-to-day HR operations. This role oversees a team of HR professionals and collaborates closely with the Safety and Compliance teams to ensure effective delivery of payroll administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance execution, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate brings strong operational HR knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to lead a local HR team in a growing environment.

Leadership & Team Management- Directly supervise, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals at the assigned location.
- Provide coordination and partnership with the Safety and Compliance team to ensure alignment with HR policies and regulatory requirements.
- Establish clear performance expectations, support team development, and promote a service-oriented HR culture.
- Ensure implementation of federal, state, and local employment law requirements as directed.
- Maintain working knowledge of labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and benefits administration as applicable.
- Support investigations, documentation, and employee matters in collaboration with leadership.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for the assigned location.
- Ensure adherence to established wage, tax, and reporting procedures.
- Guide managers through disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution to ensure fairness and consistency.
- Provide coaching and support related to performance management processes and corrective action documentation.
- Promote a respectful and accountable workplace culture.
- Implement and uphold HR policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures as established by leadership.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and processes at the local level.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees at the assigned location(s).
- Support workforce planning, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and employee engagement efforts.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics.
- Primarily office-based at a single business location.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional collaboration with other locations or travel as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience supporting payroll, employee relations, and compliance at a site or business-unit level.
- Experience working within a growing organization preferred.
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to implement HR strategy through effective operational execution.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
