Responsibilities

At Valle Vista, our Nurse Managers play a vitalroleproviding and directinghigh quality patient care delivery from our nursing team. You will directly supervise assigned staff within our nursing department in accordance withthe hospitals policies and applicable laws. Key responsibilities include staff recruitment and development, workforce planning,assigning and directing work, appraising performance, staff recognition, investigating complaints, and partnering with senior leadership to resolve problems and explore performance improvement.

Nurse Supervisor (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing inIN(or eligible to receive or renew).

• Current CPR or BLS certification

• Three to five years of experience in psychiatric nursing. Management experience preferred.

• Associate of Science in Nursing from a CCNE accredited nursing program required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred
