Job Title: Mobile Research Community Engagement Operations Associate

Duration: 18 Month Contract

Location: Greenwood, IN

Job Description

The MRU Operations Associate supports the successful execution of Mobile Research Community Events (MRCEs) by managing on-site logistics, operational setup, and research supply coordination. This role is responsible for ensuring Mobile Research Unit (MRU) readiness, maintaining clinical trial materials and equipment, and supporting compliant, efficient research operations at deployment sites. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, event based environment while collaborating with cross-functional clinical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of Mobile Research Community Events (MRCEs) as part of the MRU Operations team.
  • Coordinate on-site event setup, operational activities, and teardown to ensure efficient and compliant.
  • Manage inventory, storage, and transportation of clinical trial materials and operational supplies.
  • Prepare, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot MRU equipment at the Global Innovation Center (GIC) and research event locations.
  • Partner with local clinical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operational support while adhering to defined MRU deployment responsibilities.
  • Ensure research sites are organized, operationally ready, and compliant with applicable SOPs and operational standards.
  • Represent Lilly professionally at community research events while fostering effective communication with clinical teams, research staff, and event stakeholders.
  • Identify operational issues and elevate or resolve them to minimize disruption to research activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MRU operational processes and event execution.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting logistics, operations, event coordination, healthcare, research, or clinical.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting clinical research, healthcare operations, or mobile healthcare initiatives.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and equipment coordination.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (clinical, healthcare, or life sciences).
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or clinical research operations.
