The Lead Cook is responsible for the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes. Ensures that all items on the cooks line are stocked at all times and maintains the cleanliness of all line equipment. The Lead Cook is responsible for effectively communicating with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef on any service, product, or staff issues/concerns.

• Ensures all line stations are stocked and ready for service
• Completes or verifies daily line checks and temperature logs
• Manages weekly WAG thaw cart pulls, Specials, and product readiness
  
  Walks inventory and completes order list completion
• Enforces FIFO, labeling, dating, and rotation standards
• Ensures proper consistencies are achieved for mechanically altered diets
• Ensures therapeutic diets are properly prepared
• Maintains consistent quality and plate presentation across the line
• Communicates service, product, or staffing concerns to leadership
