Job Summary
Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. From everyday needs to special occasions, members need you, as their mini tour guide, to get them the special product. Your job may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders or helping members while stocking shelves.
This fast‑paced, physically demanding role is like being paid to go to the gym!
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
- Maintain safety of the facility through safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, arranging, cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile items.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics using action plans and the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners, identifying priorities and deadlines, carrying out tasks, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities.
- Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders during the day.
