As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a fast-paced tech and media location, you will support entry screening, manage access control and visitor flow, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, respond to questions with exceptional customer service, and document observations clearly.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as directed.

+ Screen entrants at designated checkpoints using approved methods and equipment, verifying authorization and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and/or prohibited items in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations by communicating clearly, documenting observations, and notifying supervision and/or site contacts per post orders.

+ Complete shift logs and required reports, support queue management during peak arrival times, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + CPR Certification is preferred.

+ Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
