They continuously improve and maintain all Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure customers receive the Amazon smile.

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
• Maintain positive relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Lift up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, climb ladders and gangways, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Flexible schedule—including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Certification from Amazon’s Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE).

• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles.
• Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of mechanical or electrical apprenticeship experience.

Starting pay ranges from USD 31.00 to USD 31.00 hourly, with shift differentials.
